Jerez test fruitful for D'Ambrosio

Jérôme D'Ambrosio and the DAMS team made the most of the two official test days which took place last week at Jerez. While team mate Kamui Kobayashi topped the time sheets, D'Ambrosio racked in more experience at the Spanish venue. "I had never visited the track which is very demanding", commented Gravity's Belgian driver. "I spent the first day just getting some mileage under my belt and I should have been faster on the second day but the incessant traffic prevented me from really taking advantage of the fresh rubber we had on the car. We nevertheless enjoyed a good working session, going through various set-ups and configuration. All in all, I was satisfied with the 6th best time and the general cohesion of the team which resulted from the test. There's another test scheduled at Paul Ricard on November 11th and 12th and I will aim for a performance on par with my ambitions of being a regular front-runner in 2009."
